We're probably about to make some new friends. We just bought a '53 Jubilee and I'm one of those guys who only knows where to put the gas, the oil and the key. We bought one that doesn't smoke, seems to have good compression, has 4 good tires and the PTO and hydraulics work. Have already replaced the old completely shot battery. Noting the above, there are still lots of things wrong with this new member of the family. I'll start with the steering that seems sluggish. There is also a point in a right turn where the steering wheel pops and there is suddenly all kinds of play in the wheel. Then it catches again and I have response to steering. Is there a steering lubrication capability? What do I look for? Assume I know nothing including how to tear into it, because I don't. We're not afraid to get our hands dirty, or even to spend a lot of time on these projects. We just don't want to do more harm than good, or do any harm at all. This tractor is a long way from perfect, and after two weeks I love it anyway. By the way, this tractor was made when I was three years old and the wife was one. Hopefully these three old timers can take good care of each other for a few years. Ron
