I'll research deeper for more info from the MPC's on a 5 Hole other than it is a hockey term referring to the space between a goalies legs whereby a puck can be slipped thru for a goal... ; > ) (grin). The March, 1940 MPC lists 4 looms/conduits, 12281, A,B,C,& D but diagram shows only a 4-hole loom. As stated, the 2N wartime tractor used a shorter loom (pictured) with the magneto. Lighting kits were never factory installed items on N's, always dealer optional accessories. Wiring looms never had any provisions for light wires because of this and because the headlight wiring was never thru the loom anyway. The coil wire fed out of the front downward pointing port with plug wires to cap. It appears more than one person has a 5-holer.
