I thought we had a discussion on this a few years ago but couldn't find anything archived. I do know resilvering isn't cheap. Some mentioned chrome too but that is also a special process. You need a certain substrate of metal for chrome to adhere to. Others used a 'chrome-like' paint. I did find these places:

1. www.queencityplating.com Queen City Plating 425-315-1992 (Washington)
2. www.frankfordplatinginc.com Frankford Plating, Inc (Pennsylvania)
3. carsrule@embarqmail.com Craig Riker 419-290-4442 (Ohio)
4.www.nu-chrome.com Nu-Chrome (Massachusetts)
5. No known website: Chidgey and Sons 619-441-2505 (California)
6. No known website: Uvira Inc. 541-956-6880 (Oregon)

I suspect nobody is going to be low-priced. Eastwood may have reflective paint. I have been playing around with the Implement Lamp reflector for years trying to develop a method of removing the old burnt out bulbs and resoldering a new one in. That part isn't the problem. The trick is to get the glass lens removed and back on without breaking it. It is crimped on and there is a rubber seal between it and the reflector base.
