Worked on the CM Halls yesterday and they are not sealed beams and have a reflective surface on brass, yes brass reflector. Mine were kind of amber colored with some dark spots. I tried a couple things to clean them up and the winner by far was chrome/metal polish. I have no idea what the reflective material is so I went light on rubbing but with a little chrome polish the amber oxidation and dark spots cleaned up and the reflectors now look like chrome. I didn't get all of it off as I was going lightly and have accepted the results in lieu of #$*&ing them up.
