Block Heaters

Got it in my head I should get a block heater for those cold winter nights to help warm my N's insides.
Can't find any on ebay stating it's for an N, and I checked a few tractor parts suppliers, but no luck.

I did find a "universal type" that mounts into the radiator hose, but it doesn't seem like much heat would transfer to the block after what disipates through the radiator....Yes/No?

Also, I'd thought I'd heard on here before that there was a dipstick style for the oil pan...Is that true?

Anyone know where a good deal on any of these might be had?
