The Service Bulletin covering the replacement of the early SOS's with a factory replacement transmission actually states that if the replacement trans is going to be installed in a gold tractor (the factory did not call it a Gold Demo) then the dealer was to order a can of the gold paint to paint the replacement trans to match the rest of the tractor. The SB also called for the mechanic to hand stamp the tractor's original serial number into the replacement trans housing but many of them didn't.
