Ferguson / Dearborn implements

This isn't historical fact as much as it is speculation.
I've often wondered what were all the causes for Ford splitting off from Ferguson. We'll never know them all but we can be sure it was at least due somewhat to the money thing.
The 9/2Ns were Fords with the "Ferguson System". From what I've gathered Henry had the right to build the tractor and Harry had the right to build all the implements. So all the early tools for these tractors were badged Ferguson and built by Ferguson, Sherman
or other jobbers. So Harry was making his nickel on each implement sold and Henry was losing out on that expanding and lucrative implement market.
That's why when the split came in 47 Ford immediately started the Dearborn line to compete in the implement market.
Folks who own and collect 9/2Ns really shouldn't be looking for Dearborn implements to pull. They should be looking for Ferguson as these would be "correct" behind their Gray tractor.
