Thanks Ed. Since I didn't have to remove the cable and it works as is, I'll just replace the input shaft bearing and seal and put it back together. As I move forward I'll post if there are any issues that I didn't anticipate. I am wondering if it would be wise to pack the bearing with grease or just lightly coat it so it isn't a dry start up.
