Finally tracked down and purchased a Sherman input shaft bearing. Long story, I'll save you the details. I'm wishing I would have asked about a bearing number on this forum because the outside diameter of the one I ended up with was just a fraction too big. I ended up polishing it with a die grinder until it fit. Didn't like having to do that, but that's what it took. I was able to get a new input shaft bearing on and in without having to take the entire unit out of the tractor.
