8N weight distribution

I have a guy tell me that when the 8N was designed Ford made changes to try and balance the front to back weight distribution. I can't find anywhere that happened and since basically the 8N is the same as a 2N forward of the transmission, minus a few cosmetic changes to the hood, dash, etc. I would think the weight distribution would be the same. In fact, maybe more on the 8N to the rear than before with the added position control and 4 speed.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks.
