Fuel bowl leaking

My 54 NAA fuel bowl started leaking so I replaced the gasket on it twice, both were cork gaskets and made in India. Still leaked. I then replaced the shut off valve stem with no change. I think it is leaking on the back side of the bowl and the only thing I can think of is to replace the bowl assembly as the retainer clip does not appear to be even on both sides. Has anyone had the same problem or know how I can fix it?
