Thanks for the inputs on the alternator and regulator...I least I now know someone out there uses this system. Okay for now I'll leave it be.
Yes I have a volt meter. And a test light for hot circuits.
No I haven't removed the drain plug nor checked/cleaned the screens. Will do this first and also follow Bruce's process at the carb to verify flow.
