I have seen pictures and found a 'How-To' build/install (not from this site) but I don't understand how it works!! I "think" I understand that, as you say, the arm is connected to the lever and when the arm goes up it moves the lever down, etc. But, what I don't understand is how you 'set' your position. If you set the lever, at say half way down the quadrant -- if the arm starts to drop, the linkage will pull the lever up. But -- how does it know where to stop??
I just don't get it!! Just not smart enough to 'see it', I guess......
