My 48 8N has no Ford markings on the fenders or hood. It's a 4 speed transmission and all the casting markings are appropriate for a 48 8N. Did Ford manufacture early 8N's without emblems? I understand the Ford fender script was added after 48, but this tractor has no emblems and no evidence that the emblems were removed.
