FOMOCO started showing up on parts 1952 53.The thermostat is marked 1-62 that is the mfg date.A BB prefix refers to a 1932 big truck.I have counted 200 car and truck parts in my 9n parts book.The throw out bearing I took out of my 640 tractor had a 78 prefix that was first used in 1937.Doesnt mean the part is that old.Just says say that Ford used the same part for many years.
