Randy.......You say.....It also requires FOMOCO trademark and to "stamp part no. and opening temp. & date" on it.I say this would be required,regardless of who made them.ALSO: I am looking at the drawing for 9N-8575-A3 and it says the part was released in Sept1952.I would say that the Sept.52 revision date was for the "A-3"part of the part number.Just for the record,what was the official date that Ford went to Fomoco.The part number that I have for the 8n shifter knob is BB-7213.I think this was also used on a car or truck.I didn't realize the center was originally wood tho.Thanks for all your help. don b
