Hydraulic Fluid - Dexron III equivalent

I am going to do a fluid change on my MTD log splitter. I actually got a rag, got down on my knees, and wiped off the data sticker (for once). It recommended Dexron III or SAE 10. When I bought the splitter five years ago at Home Depot they threw in some jugs of their own generic hydraulic fluid which was just labeled something like "Hydraulic Fluid For Log Splitters". I have long since thrown the jugs out.

Any recommendations?
