Good news. Not a fan of wind generated energy, although, in some locations it may be practical. It is quite expensive, unsightly and kills birds. Years ago, a lawyer friend, who is also educated as a physicist, suggested we use small nuke reactors in bunches at nuclear (or as "W" would say, "nuclar") generation plants. That way maintenance could be rotating and power always available. The Navy has used them for years to power ships, so the tech is readily available and proven. I see the powers-that-be starting to consider that option, especially with the energy growing needs of the AI industry. Makes sense to me. What took them so long?
