I've been an advocate of small nuclear reactors as power generation means for years.
As an engineer as well as an attorney, I well remember trying to debate such things with the English and History majors that I worked with who "knew better."
SMRs are the ideal power sources for data centers as well as other facilities having large power requirements.
Ironically, it appears that we may be coming full circle to the times when large industrial plants, e.g., Ford plants, generated their own power on site. There is a wonderful (and enormous) Corliss reciprocating steam engine/generator from a Ford plant preserved at the Ford Museum in Dearborn MI.
