I don't know of a real test. If you can use touch control to raise arms to some part way position and then push toward front of tractor on the yoke/draft control spring with enough force, then the forward movement of the draft plunger should cause the arms to lift. Might need some leverage or loosen the yoke so that spring isn't tight.
