Went up to the son's house for a while today. Just got back and saw your post. Good job Walt! After all that you did to it, had it of been me, I might have put a dent in the sheet metal if it still didn't run right. : )

Probably varnish from the old gas. Glad to see you can run it now. Show us some pictures if you can of the plowing when you get her going.
As always, my hat is off to all the good folks, like JMOR and GB and many others, for posting all those valuable How-To's. Lots of great information there.
Anyway Walt, you stayed with it and fixed it. My hat is off to you too. Good work.
