The control valves have a tendency to stick & Mr. Ferguson added to "oscillator" to his valve to provide some "wiggle" to help/cure the sticking problem. If valve is being pulled completely out of pump, you have a linkage problem. Is the spring from front of lift cylinder back to center of linkage 'horseshoe" in place?
