A while back, I think I recall (My old brain may not be accurate) that Tim posted information on the benefit of installing a 188 degree t-stat over a 160 degree. I usually copy and paste pertinent info on another document, but can't find it now. I somehow purchased a 160 degree t-stat and am getting ready to change fluids for the winter. I have no problem getting a 188 degree if it is a better choice. Can anyone (Tim?) repeat the benefits of the 188 degree t-stat? Thanks for all responses.
