8N with 6 cylinder 288 cu. in. motor

Hi. I'm a newbie and this is my first post. I'm looking to buy an 8N tractor and there are seven priced from $1,800 to %5,800 in the area. One of them indicates,"Ford 8N tractor with rare 6 cyl 288 gas Ford factory conversion. Ford only put out about 5,000 of these." Is this true? Are there any advantages or DISadvantages of getting this engine? What else can you tell me about it?
