Thank you for the help guys. Let me start by saying this project has been an adventure. I started it in the hopes of learning engines and all that goes with a running machine. This was the beginning project which went fairly well I have a 1942 Chevy pickup on the line next!
As far as the carb goes I opened up the valves, opened the gas shutoff more turns and filled the tank up some more. I did some fine tuning and for the most part she's running a lot better. I still feel I have some tuning to do. Thanks for the help!
Oh and I have the manuals I was just seeing if anyone had a different solution.
