Putting 8N hydraulics onto a 2N

Hello, its a long story as to the "why", but im wanting to put the top plate from a 48 8N and put it onto a 46 2N, giving me a 2N with postion control 3-point, is this doable? Looks like the gasket pattern matches, will i need to swap pumps also? Ive pulled the 8N top plate already, hope this is a doable project.
