JMOR, thanks a bunch for the more detailed diagram, I think that has to be the situation with "bottoming" issue. Can I see those components if I remove the inspection cover from the right side, or do I need to remove the top? When this works properly, I should be able move the lift handle with very little resistance from bottom towards the top correct? The only resistance should be the friction disc and the components that are being moved inside? Thanks!!!
