I refer you to the Llamas article posted by T Daley.I spent most of my working years in TV service.43 years in my own shop and 5 years working in 3 other shops.I can read.Try a study of color TV.The turkeys I had trouble insisted the Ford never used gear oil in the 9n thru 4040 tractors.I have no way to post pictures so you will have to get your own Ford Shop Manual.Mine is a 1962 edition.Original Ford publication, not a pirated reprint with black photos..I have a hard time reading now even with glasses.Cataracts moved in this spring.I have trouble reading the fine print on page 421.The Dexta was the last Ford to use gear oil.My tractor lifts fine with 90wt oil.With 134 it couldnt lift 300 lbs in warm weather.The end result is what counts.
