Hi all,
I have a '41ish 9N that has been converted to a 12 volt system by its previous owner. I don't believe it to be a current conversion as it has a 3 wire alternator, and there is still some kind of voltage regulator in the system behind the dash area.
Now for the basics:
Everything was working fine since I bought her over a year ago...let her sit for a while and when I needed her she didn't start.
I have replaced points, sparks, rotor...all except the coil. Coil was my next item to replace but I stopped as I got some recommendations to put in a better single wire alternator system and get rid of the excess wiring that's there...thoughts???
She has good fuel
Battery is strong
She cranks strong
Fuel is getting to the carb
But she just wont fire up.
Any Ideas or thought will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
