Don, I'll assume 160 means 160* and that FOMOCO means Ford Motor Company. What I'm not ready to assume unless someone whose opinions I trust tells me differently is that 1-62 is a part number or casting code & that the hose came off the assembly line painted red.
I'm not going to claim the unpainted top hose on my 1950 8N w/ the p/n 2N 8260 & the non-removable t-stat clamp was installed at the factory. Or that the 2 inch long brass t-stat made by Dole Valve Co is original either w/o some further evidence.
